Andaman and Nicobar Administration have been following a policy of ambiguity and utmost secrecy since ages. Confidentiality is the hallmark of this administration. Secretariat does not know what Raj Niwas does. Even acts of charity are done in extreme secrecy here.
Or why the Islanders are kept in the dark about their own development? Why the agenda of Island Development Authority is not in the public domain? Why is there a wide disconnect between the raja and the praja?
The centres of power have become their own islands in the archipelago. Raj Niwas is an Island. The secretariat is another island. One can reach the A&N Islands by sea and by air but reaching these islands is a Herculean task. Unless these islands are connected through causeways, one can rest assure that there will be no development in the Islands.

U huh..... it is but unwritten law , drafted by unseen hands and implemented by unseen figures, results and effects prominent. who says we are Independent? I have'nt seen any freedom for the civil society, we have learnt to live by this law since generations....with a leash around our neck, our freedom is limited just as much to we do not prey into the happenings inside the Primary Faculty, scream as much as we can, we lose our energy and invite disease which eat away the small scale of livelihood we have earned with our sweat and blood.
Three Cheers to our Midnight Freedom!
