buffer zone
The administration has a habit of jumping into conclusions too fast without assessing the situations that may arise due to an act of a couple of bureaucrats who come from across the mainland of India and do not understand the sentimental attachments each involved person may have with their piece of land which has been their home for decades. they should be reminded that if their houses would have been in such zones and they are told to move out of their houses without any prior indication or notices what would be their mental state. It is to be assessed if they are human beings at all.
I do not understand as to why they are so particular about the buffer zone in and around Jarawas only, is there some vested interest of a group of people, hmmmmm something stinks.
There has been a CRZ regulation in place for several decades and there has been no enforcement to this whatsoever in the islands. All the resorts etc built in Havelock and for the matter in Port Blair are within this CRZ zones are these guys blind, cant they see these things, now they are after a few commercial establishments at and around Baratang area. Still new establishments are coming up in Havelock and no one gives a toss.
It is high time that all the politicians, public of Andaman start understanding that they live in a democratic country and they should start fighting for their rights and raise their voices. My prayers and sympathies with all the families and normal people involved. I strongly condemn this act of A & N Administration without public hearing or their involvement just for the sake of so called fancy word Buffer Zone.

this i think are all money making stunts......... no other tribal area comes under buffer zone in a & N islands, why only jarawa area, in that case carnicobar has a defence establishemnt ( airforce) base and kamorta has got a naval nase. why not serve notice 2 them also.
he admin has two ways of measuring distacne for Crz cleranace its from the HTl till the point directly and for the crushers and quarry its the road distance. the admin can construct sea walls and buildings but public cannot. the rich in port blair can do what ever they feel like few constructions are comming up in foreshore road no body to question ,people have made seven storyed houses and covered the roads also. i need not mention their names. the municipal authorities have turned a blind eye.coomn mans house notices are served for set back and things like that.
comm'in back to buffer zone activities ,the entire area under A & N should come in this zone with no further const from the govt side. buffer zone is nothing new its been there long time the closure of the Atr and many other issues like that.why didn't the admin react then.

Nice 2 c u and family. I just started this off because i felt it is insane and people of Port Blair are being deceived by this so called administration for too long now and we need to group together and fight for our home land, I think and protect the local people and the businesses set up by them.
